Still enjoying it, even tho some of the events in the book make little sense. It's almost as of Miller was not quite sure what story to write. 

I'm glad he seems to have mostly stuck with Lacroix, but I also have a feeling that the current slow meanderings are leading up to fireworks of some sort. 

I hope they are. 

All things going well, I will finish the book this evening. This has been a fabulous companion throughout the working week.
