Now We Shall Be Entirely Free: The 'magnificent' novel by the Costa-winning author of PURE - Andrew Miller

Now We Shall be Entirely Free was another title included in my recent search for new writing. 

I'm only 30 page in but I am hooked. I know nothing about the story. So when we started off with a mysterious unconscious man in rags being carried from a coach into a house, where a housekeeper takes up to care for him and we learn that had just returned from the wars in Spain in the early 1800s...well, I was just hooked. 

The story is seriously atmospheric already.
