An English Murder - Cyril Hare

Well, this is still excellent for my tastes. 

 

Our amateur sleuth is guessing as much as I am who the murderer is, and in the meantime, the bodies are piling up.

 

I have a hunch. And it's a cliche, but there is a very strong argument for it.

 

Just the right story to switch off from a very hectic week at work. 

 

Oh, and I love that the story has this Golden Age inter-war feel, even tho it was published post -WWII.
