I started reading before I set out for work this morning, and have just read a few more pages over lunch.
I have hunches of where the story might be going and what twists and turns might pop up but not in a way that makes this a boring read. On the contrary, the narrator addressing the "hypothetical" reader by way of the diary is very engaging...and somehow I get the distinct feeling we are being addressed by a(show spoiler)
, but that is for the story to reveal. or not, as the case may be. It does make the reading experience quite unsettling, tho. I like it.
