It's Fireworks Night, innit?

Murder in the Mews - Agatha Christie, Nigel Hawthorne, Hugh Fraser

I am having friends around tonight before we head out to the beach to watch this year's fireworks display, and since I am having a day off work what better way to get into the spirit of things than with Murder in the Mews?

The title story in this collection is narrated by Nigel Hawthorne rather than Hugh Fraser, but it's pretty good, too.

(Oh, and I'll probably chill out later with a re-watch of V for Vendetta, which has become an annual tradition for me, too.)
