Reading progress update: I've read 31 out of 339 pages.

I thought he was joking. ‘And may I live there?’
‘No,’ he said. ‘It is mine. You will have to get your own.’
His arm was through mine as it ever was, yet suddenly all was different, his voice swinging free, as if we were two creatures tied to separate cords, instead of to each other.
Can I just say that this is absolutely fantastic so far? The development of Circe as a character is brilliant.
31 pages in and this book has already shown a lot more depth and thought than the entirety of The Silence of the Girls.
