I'm stopping here for tonight. I meant to stop after the last chapter because there is a lot to take in, but ... oh, the book won. By the time I got the ocean currents, I was drifting.
I may have to re-read parts of the chapter about Gravity again tomorrow night but that is ok because it was interesting. I just couldn't absorb any more of the details. (I still have a cold! It's driving me nuts.)
The section about how a candle works was fascinating. I'd go so far as to say it was my favourite part of the book up to now. Not that it was entirely new information, but I liked the way that Czerski wrote it. It was just as "thrilling" as her description of how popcorn is formed.
