Night Shift - Charlaine Harris

Why can't book descriptions get it right when I need to rely on them?

This is from the jacket blurb on the actual book:

"At Midnight’s local pawnshop, weapons are flying off the shelves—only to be used in sudden and dramatic suicides right at the main crossroads in town.
Who better to figure out why blood is being spilled than the vampire Lemuel, who, while translating mysterious texts, discovers what makes Midnight the town it is. There’s a reason why witches and werewolves, killers and psychics, have been drawn to this place."

Notice how it says "werewolves". I expected werewolves. It's not. There are weretigers.

Yep, that's right. Weretigers.

I'm still counting this towards the vampires v werewolves square of the Halloween bingo.

One of the characters is a vampire (a nice one, tho - so far), so that part is true.

Now, back to exploring what they mean by "weretigers"....
